Her advise to the audience assumed everyone already used social media but they did not.A charming elderly gentleman stood up to ask a question after the lecture. He said, "I run a family farm and small farm market. I am hearing all these names like facebook and twitter. Just tell me one place to start."
The lovely woman answered, "Just start with the social media that you use in your private life."
I was stunned! This young woman completely missed the point that this gentleman did not use any social media. He recognized the advantage for his business but had never used any social media and needed a REAL starting point.
